A local directory for the people who live on acreages and farms around Calgary, and the rural businesses that keep them running.
Why we're building it
Living on an acreage means looking after your own septic, well, water, roads and fences. Finding the right help is harder than it should be. Big directories mix rural trades in with city services, county pages send you to long PDFs, and the best providers are often known only by word of mouth.
Acreage Owners puts the services country properties need in one place, organized by what you need and where you live.
What we cover
We start with 12 core acreage services, from septic and water wells to snow plowing, gravel, fencing, propane and mobile welding, across Foothills County, Rocky View County and the communities around Calgary.
How listings will work
- Basic listings are free for local businesses.
- Where a licence or certificate applies, we plan to check it and show the date checked and the source.
- Featured placements will always be clearly marked.
- We never make up listings or reviews.
Where we are today
Acreage Owners is in draft. We're building the first listings now, starting in De Winton and Foothills County, then Bearspaw, Springbank and Cochrane, then Airdrie and Balzac.
